Adult English School for English as a Second or Foreign Language Students

Charities Adult English School, Adult Language School and TESOL International (Sydney) donate to a variety of charities when a major international crisis occurs that requires immediate financial assistance. Our staff also regularly donate to various charities. Some are listed below.

Donations in 2006:
We donated a portion of private tutoring fees to Wesley Mission Sydney

Donations in 2007:
Sydney WildLife World - Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby
Endangered species programme through the Australian Wildlife Conservancy. We decided to adopt the Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby as our logo so it is only right that we occasionally donate to its breeding and protection programme. Visit Sydney Wildlife World's site here
We also donated to the Police Citizen's Youth Club

Donations in 2008:
This year we focused on the Sichuan China Earthquake disaster.
Australian Red Cross - China Earthquake Appeal.
Chinese Embassy Canberra - China Earthquake Appeal
We also donated to Hillsong Church's Nation Builders programme.

Australian Red Cross - Victorian Bushfire Appeal
We also donated to the Salvation Army

About the financial structure of Adult English School, Adult Language School and TESOL International Sydney, and our relationship with non-profit organisations.

Adult English School, Adult Language School and TESOL International (Sydney), while not officially recognised non-profit businesses, are run as such. Our teachers and administrators regularly volunteer their time to help maintain the businesses. Any profit made by the businesses is usually invested back into the businesses in the form of better facilities and benefits for students.

The Principal of Adult English School, Adult Language School and TESOL International (Sydney) regularly gives his time freely. We also have a number of teachers and students who perform duties on a volunteer basis. Thanks to the help of these people internally, Adult English School, Adult Language School and TESOL International (Sydney) donate some funds, when available, to international charity organisations.
